MRO Guidance for Sapphire Grant Management System

RGMS to Sapphire Migration Key Profile Changes
The MRO have put together a document that summarises the Key Changes that may have occured when RGMS profiles were migrated over to Sapphire on the 12th of February. It is suggested that applicants use the attached document as guide to check their Sapphire profile to ensure that their profile data has been migrated correctly from RGMS.

Sapphire FAQs & Important Weblinks
The NHMRC have put together a number of useful resources to help applicants navigate Sapphire. We would suggest that the following links are bookmarked by applicants for future reference:

Managing Access To Your Application
Non-CI/AI: Share your application view only access or edit access
To share your application, click 'Applications' to open the application view. In the list of applications, click ' ⋮ ' (to the left of application identifier) to open the 'Options' menu. Click 'Invite user to register and share application'. You will need to enter the full email address, hit the tab key and then select the appropriate option from the menu to:
  • 'Invite or share with view access' to the application, or
  • 'Invite or share with edit access' to the application.
The invited researcher will receive an email notification and the application will be available for selection in their 'Applications' view.

Adding CIs & AIs to your research team
In the Research Team section of the application form, the Application Owner can prompt a Researcher Team member without a Sapphire account to register for Sapphire by clicking 'Invite to Register and Manage Access'. Enter the full email address, hit the tab key and then select the appropriate option from the menu to:
  • Invite to register for Sapphire
  • Invite and grant view access to application, or
  • Invite and grant edit access to the application.
The invited researcher will receive an email to prompt them to register for Sapphire. When the registration is complete, they may be added to the application as a Research Team member. Alternatively, if the 'invite with edit access' option was selected, the new user may add themselves to the Research Team.

Please contact the MHS team if you have any questions.
