Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering: Winter School Scholarships

AINSE offers scholarships for students to attend Winter Schools on applications of nuclear techniques. The Schools are held at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) Lucas Heights campus, about 30km south of Sydney.

The 24th AINSE Winter School will run over five days from Monday 6 to Friday 10 July 2020. The scholarship is open to all senior undergraduate students in which knowledge of nuclear techniques of analysis would be of interest i.e. students must be in their final year of an undergraduate STEM studies. ANSTO provides for the costs of the experiments, and AINSE pays for travel, accommodation, all meals and social activities during the program.

Application process
Monash can forward one primary applicant and two reserve applicants for this scheme. To apply, students must complete the attached nomination form and provide a statement (maximum 500 words) outlining why they would like to attend the AINSE Winter School.

The completed form must be forwarded to mro-applications@monash.edu by Friday, 24 April 2020.

Applicants will then be ranked by the Monash University's AINSE council member, Julie Rothacker, Director, Platform Operations and Strategy, Office of Vice-Provost (Research and Research Infrastructure).
