Introducing iLab for SCS laboratory management

The School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health is launching its new iLab site. The SCS iLab site is the one-stop-shop for requesting laboratory OHS inductions, training, and equipment or facilities maintenance.

It will make these processes easier, and keep records to help meet our OHS compliance requirements. It can also be used for booking equipment (currently optional).

We are piloting the SCS iLab site with the Department of Medicine initially, followed by other departments early next year.

What do I need to do? 
If you work in a laboratory, you will need to follow these instructions to request a refresher lab OHS induction. A refresher OHS induction is required every three years. Please request your refresher lab induction by 30 November.

If you do not have an iLab account, please set up an account first.

Note: If you do not work in a laboratory, there is no action required.

Information for supervisors
If your laboratory staff and students are already using iLab, there is no action required.
(Please note: the SCS iLab site does not charge any fees for services.)

If you are a PI supervising laboratory staff or students, but do not yet have an iLab account set up for your group, please follow these instructions.
