Medical Genomics Facility - iLabs Booking System Demo Session

We recommend all Platform Users and Supervisors to attend this demo session to understand all the great capabilities and reporting features. Platform Managers will also briefly review any specific iLabs booking processes to follow when booking their capabilities.
MHTP Platforms have been rolling out the iLabs booking system for instrument and service bookings over the last year.

MHTP Nodes of Monash Microimaging, Histology and Flowcore have already fully transitioned.

Medical Genomics will now be introducing iLabs and preparing for transition from ARIN to iLab for reservations on the QuantStudio 6 instruments.

In preparation for this transition and to explain the recent iLabs changes for Hudson Institute, Chad Johnson (Platform Booking System Officer) will be presenting a demonstration of iLabs.

Key talking points will include:

• What is iLab?

• Groups and Group Leaders

• “About our Platform” Tab – Letting customers know what the Platform/Dept does

• Scheduling Tab – Calendars and Instruments

• Service Request Tab – From simple to complex requests

• Forms, Milestones, Charges, and Events – Gathering and keeping track of information from service requests

• View All Request Tab – Keeping track of user requests

• Reporting Tab – Presenting information

• Billing Tab – How iLab creates invoices for charging users for service and equipment usage.
