NHMRC Dates and MRO Support

MRO Compliance Due Dates now available
As many of you would be aware, the NHMRC have provided an updated calendar with many (but not all) funding opportunity due dates for the remainder of 2019 and the larger schemes in 2020. This includes:

• Investigator Grants
• Centres of Research Excellence
• Development Grants
• Synergy Grants
• Clinical Trial and Cohort Studies Grants
• Ideas Grants.

To assist with your planning, here is a copy of the MRO Calendar for these schemes including the MRO compliance close date. Please note: all applications require some level of MRO review prior to approvals being obtained for submission.

1-on-1 Eligibility Sessions - Oct 7-11
Based on feedback from last year, we will again be providing an opportunity for a 1-on-1 session with an MRO staff member to assist with your eligibility queries with regard to the NHMRC new grant program.

Sessions will be held between October 7 and October 11. You can choose to meet face-to-face with us in our office at Level 1, 26 Sports Walk (Clayton Campus), or we can arrange a Zoom meeting with you if you are not on-campus.

Please note: These sessions are not to discuss competitiveness of your application, just eligibility in terms of what you can apply for.

Investigator Grant Eligibility & Compliance Seminar  - 11am Oct 4
Following the opening on the scheme and release of the rules and instructions, the MRO will hold an online seminar detailing NHMRC Investigator Grant Eligibility and Compliance information on October 4, 2019 at 11am.
