As many of you would be aware, the NHMRC have provided an updated calendar with many (but not all) funding opportunity due dates for the remainder of 2019 and the larger schemes in 2020. This includes:
- Investigator Grants
- Centres of Research Excellence
- Development Grants
- Synergy Grants
- Clinical Trial and Cohort Studies Grants
- Ideas Grants.
To assist with your planning, here is a copy of the MRO Calendar for these schemes including the MRO compliance close date. Please note: all applications require some level of MRO review prior to approvals being obtained for submission.
1-on-1 Eligibility Sessions - Oct 7-11
Based on feedback from last year, we will again be providing an opportunity for a 1-on-1 session with an MRO staff member to assist with your eligibility queries with regard to the NHMRC new grant program.
Sessions will be held between October 7 and October 11. You can choose to meet face-to-face with us in our office at Level 1, 26 Sports Walk (Clayton Campus), or we can arrange a Zoom meeting with you if you are not on-campus.
Spaces are limited and sessions will be booked on a first come, first served basis. Please book your session at: https://doodle.com/poll/q2dee5igvutu5dhi
You will be sent an email to confirm the time and place of the session.
Please note: These sessions are not to discuss competitiveness of your application, just eligibility in terms of what you can apply for.
