The
NHMRC have invited Monash to participate in stage 2 of the Investigating Clinician
Researcher Career Pathways Project, a survey of Australian clinician
researchers.
This
notice is to inform you that we have agreed to participate by providing NHMRC
with a list of our researcher's email details. You may be then contacted by
NHMRC's project partners ORIMA Research inviting you to
participate in the survey.
If
you would like to opt-out of the survey and do NOT want us to
provide your email details to the NHMRC for this survey, please let Svetozar Kovacevic know
by 23 November.
Background
The
project was initiated by the NHMRC's Health Translation Advisory Committee to
investigate the effectiveness of tools and mechanisms to support clinician
researchers and the challenges faced by them.
All
clinician researchers are encouraged to take part in this project to help NHMRC
better understand the factors that affect clinician researchers and their
career patterns.
The
project has five stages:

Intelligence gathering (completed July 2018)

Data collection

Participants
must be eligible to undertake clinical practice in Australia through
registration with the Australian Health practitioner Regulation Agency, the
National Alliance of Self Regulating Health professionals, or equivalent.
