Johnson & Johnson WiSTEM2D Scholars Award Program – CALL FOR EOI APPLICATIONS

The Johnson & Johnson WiSTEM2D Scholars Award Program aims to fuel the development of female STEM2D leaders and feed the STEM2D talent pipeline by awarding and sponsoring women at critical points in their research careers, in each of the STEM2D disciplines:
  • Science
  • Technology
  • Engineering
  • Math
  • Manufacturing and Design
The awards will fund one woman per discipline who has completed her advanced degree, who is working as an assistant professor and who is not yet tenured at an accredited university or design institution.  Senior Lecturer (Monash Level C) and Lecturers (Monash Level B) are also eligible to apply. The Scholarship Award is a 3-year scholarship in the gross amount of $150,000.

As per the guidelines for this scheme, a maximum of one application can be shortlisted per STEM2D discipline per Faculty, and we therefore require an internal Expression of Interest (EOI) process to determine which applications can proceed to submission.

Intending applicants are required to prepare an EOI application using the attached template and submit to the Faculty Research Office (medicine.research@monash.edu) by no later than 5:00PM (AEST) on Thursday 30 August 2018Please cc your application to jinleng.graham@monash.edu

Following Faculty and cross-Faculty review and ranking processes, the shortlisted Monash applicants will be advised to proceed with their full application submission and entry of their application into PURE on or soon after 12 September 2018.  Final applications are due to the funder by 25 September 2018.
