Synopsis: Once nodules, a polyp
or a cyst are established in the vocal folds, do we have the potential to
reverse or eliminate them through voice therapy or vocal load reduction? This
research investigates how these phonotraumatic vocal fold lesions change over
time, and how they respond to vocal load and targeted voice exercise.
Supervisors: Dr Debra Phyland,
Prof Julian Smith and A/Prof Joseph Stemple (University of Kentucky)
