The
School of Clinical Sciences is looking to appoint a Research Fellow who will
help coordinate a comprehensive international research program on strokes
through the use of mouse models. A variety of state-of-the-art research
protocols will be employed to understand immunopathogenesis, to identify key
cellular and molecular mediators and possible therapeutic targets. If you are
successful you will liaise with participating researchers around the world as
part of the collaboration. You will be expected to contribute to reports,
publications, presentations and grant manuscripts.
To be
successful you are required to have a doctoral qualification in Immunology,
Neuroscience or Biochemistry, have an emerging track-record of publications and
presentations, be able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks and have
well developed interpersonal and written communication skills.
