Further to the announcement in the Monash Memo that the Academic Promotion Round is
now open, here is some further
information for staff intending to apply this year.
If you have not
already done so, please make the necessary arrangements with your performance supervisor
and Head of Unit, ensuring that they have adequate time to complete their sections
of the Case for Promotion form by the due date.
You are strongly
encouraged to make an appointment to meet with the relevant Associate Deans to
discuss your application.
Internal
Faculty Deadlines
Please note that faculty specific deadlines apply before
the close of the round on 26th June 2015.

Unless other arrangements have been made, it is
recommended that you e-mail your completed application to your Head of
Unit/School/Department by Monday 1st June 2015. Your
application should include all supporting documentation and your performance
supervisor’s approval.

It is also recommended that you copy your e-mail to the
relevant Academic Promotion Coordinator who will check your application and supporting
documents for completeness and will provide you with appropriate feedback.
NB: You should
not upload your application into the Academic Promotion system until it has been
approved by your Head of Unit and is complete.

Your Head of Unit will forward the reviewed
application back to you no later than Friday 19th of June
2015.

By Friday 26th June 2015 (at 5.00pm) your
completed application and all required documents must be uploaded
electronically online via the “apply now” icon on the Academic Promotion web page.
