New
students that have enrolled in the PhD program as of 1st January
2015 will need to complete the attached Course enrolment form to register
participation in the Translational research coursework program.
Course enrolment forms must be signed by the student and their
supervisor.

handbook has information about specific Translational research coursework
units here.
Students
enrolled in the Translational Research PhD Program will need to complete
TRM6002: Translational Research, prior to confirmation. It will be delivered
twice annually, including once at MMC in Semester 2.
Note: Last day to enrol in Off-campus units for Semester 1
is this Friday 27 February. On-campus units for Semester 1 can be added up
until 13 March.Last day to add Off-campus Semester 2 units is 24 July 2015.

the coursework units.
**Students enrolled prior to 1st Jan 2015 are
eligible to enroll in these units. To enrol in the Translational research
units the attached Course enrolment form is completed as follows:
1. Student discusses
unit selection with supervisor, sign and return the Course enrolment form to
CCS Student Services officer (Laisa Tigarea email: laisa.tigarea@monash.edu)
2. STUDENT SERVICES
OFFICER will check that the listed units are part of the relevant translational
research doctoral program, and the form is endorsed by Head of School
3. STUDENT SERVICES
OFFICER will add the units to the students record in Callista as UNCONFIRMED.
Form scanned and emailed to migrcandidature@monash.edu
4. MIGR checks that
units are within relevant Program requirements, and confirms enrolment in
units.
For PhD students yet to enrol
1. Student receives
offer letter detailing specific Doctoral Program with blank course enrolment
form provided in offer pack.
2. Student meets with
supervisor and completes all required forms (IP, ethics, etc.) plus the course
enrolment form – discussion with the program director (Dr Steve Petratos) may
be required with regard to PhD translational research coursework unit and
electives.
3. Student sends the
Student Services Officer (laisa.tigarea@monash.edu ) who checks the course enrolment
form and ensures that the listed units are part of the relevant Doctoral
Program. Form is signed by Program Director (or delegate – this could be
the administrator) in the ‘Department authorisation’ column for each unit
listed.
4. Student services
officer adds the units to the students record in Callista as UNCONFIRMED.
Form returned to student
5. Student visits MIGR
to provide all required forms for enrolment in the PhD including completed
course enrolment form.
